5-HTP Complex (Griffonia Seed Extract)

Description

Sfera 5-HTP complex is a combination of Griffonia seed extract and Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (cofactor vitamin B6) with the aim to help promote healthy mood balance and may be used as a sleep aid. Griffonia simplicifolia, also known as griffonia, is a shrub native to West-Africa and Central-Africa. Seeds from the griffonia plant is used as a herbal remedy due to the seed’s high content of 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP). 5-HTP is an amino acid precursor to serotonin. 5-HTP may help to promote healthy mood balance and may be used a sleep aid. In Sfera products a Griffonia simplicifolia extract with a 5-HTP content of no less than 98% is used. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is a form of Vitamin B6 vitamin supplement.
